Introducing our Student Leaders
Orlanzo | Hey, I am Orlanzo and this year I am your College Captain and Senior School Sports Leader. I started at Emmaus in Foundation and I’m proud to be part of such a great school community. I enjoy engaging in different social circles and hearing what others are trying to achieve, have achieved or are passionate about. I personally have a passion for all things sports and if you see me wandering about campus, stop me and say 'hi'. |
Edna | Hi, I’m Edna and this year I am your College Captain. I have a passion for music and performing as well as a love for team sports, especially netball. I really want to make this school a welcoming environment where everyone feels loved and valued. I also want to work on establishing meaningful connections among students across all year levels and campuses. |
Lucy | Hey! I’m Lucy and this year I am your Emerald House Captain. I have been at Emmaus since Foundation and have a very competitive spirit which I bring when supporting my team. This year I am keen to get to know more people in Emerald and Emmaus and help everyone feel involved and that they have a massive part to play |
Sehreem | Hi, I’m Sehreem, and I am your Ruby House Captain for 2024! I have a strong passion for the performing arts, in the areas of music and theatre, and love to read and write. I have been at Emmaus since Year 6, and have loved the journey my peers and I have been on together. This year, I aim to increase inclusivity and participation and ensure everyone has fun and creates awesome connections with each other. |
Niki | Hi, I’m Niki and I’m your Topaz House Captain for this year. I love the arts, including music, dance and visual art and have a passion for writing. I’ve been at Emmaus since Year 1 and have loved seeing the school’s growth throughout the years. My goal for this year is to ensure that Emmaus is a place where everyone feels included and where everyone’s voices are heard. |
ASTA i3 Science Awards
A huge congratulations to Caleb for his hard work in Science that has led to his science and engineering project being submitted into the national ASTA i3 Science Awards for further judging. He is now part of an elite 56 finalists across the country whose project have stood out as being notable and worthy of further recognition.
Not only is Caleb representing South Australia in the ASTA i3 Science Awards, but he is now a national finalist and will be awarded at their upcoming Awards Ceremony.
