Spanish Program
¡HOLA a todos! I am Irene.
I am returning from maternity leave after having my beautiful daughter Alba; she is 2 years old now and over the last year we have spent some really valuable family time together in Spain.
I am very excited to start Spanish again in Term 2.
¡Os veo pronto! See you soon!
PE - Ride 2 School Day
I wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who participated in our Ride 2 School Day last Friday, March 22nd. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and active involvement truly made the event a resounding success.
Seeing students, parents, teachers, and staff come together to promote healthy habits, sustainable transportation, and community spirit was incredibly inspiring. Whether you rode your bikes, scooters, or walked, your collective effort made a significant impact, not only on our school but also on the environment.
Your participation not only encouraged physical activity but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and togetherness within our school community. It's through initiatives like these that we not only promote health and wellness but also strengthen the bonds that unite us.
Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and dedication.

Visual Arts
This fortnight, we are met with an explosion of creativity and innovation from our talented students. From experimenting with unconventional mediums to delving deep into the realms of expression, our visual arts community is buzzing with excitement and inspiration.
One of the most intriguing developments within our classrooms is the exploration of art on the walls using electrical tape. Students across various grades have embarked on a journey of self-expression, employing their own unique designs to adorn the blank canvases of our school walls. This unconventional approach not only challenges traditional notions of art but also invites students to think outside the box and push the boundaries of their creativity.
Moreover, there has been a noticeable surge of interest in our newly established fibres centre. Students are no longer confined to sewing on paper; instead, they are immersing themselves in the tactile world of fabric art. From intricate embroidery to bold textile installations, our budding artists are harnessing the versatile nature of fibres to weave captivating narratives and evoke emotions in their audience.
But perhaps the most exciting development of all is the commencement of our students' first art projects. With a solid understanding of their chosen mediums and a clear vision of their intended message, our young artists have embarked on a journey of self-discovery and expression. Each stroke of the brush, each stitch of the needle, and each line of electrical tape speaks volumes about their unique perspectives and voices.

A massive congratulations to the 4 students who represented our school in the FUSE Cup. They have shown fantastic dedication and enthusiasm and should be so proud of their effort.
Next term, we will be competing in Just Dance. Training for Grade 5&6’s will start in Term 2 on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s at lunch. Below is the song list if you wanted to practise over the holidays (you can find the routines on YouTube)!
