Harmony Week
Last week, Athol Road Primary School celebrated Harmony Week, a time dedicated to fostering inclusivity and cultural appreciation within the school community. Students enthusiastically engaged in various activities throughout the week, including a vibrant Harmony Day celebration on Thursday, 21st March.
Students were involved in a range of activities designed to promote unity and understanding among peers. These activities provided opportunities for students to learn about different cultures, traditions, and perspectives, fostering a sense of respect and appreciation for diversity within the school environment.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the Harmony Day celebration organised by our Student Voice Leaders. The event showcased the rich tapestry of cultures present within the school community, with students coming together to celebrate their differences and shared values of inclusivity and acceptance.
Overall, Harmony Week and Harmony Day served as an important reminder of embracing diversity and promoting harmony within the school community. Through meaningful engagement and celebration of cultural differences, Athol Road Primary School continues to nurture an environment where every student feels valued, respected, and included.
