Exclusive Access To Parenting Videos

Dear parents,

We all know of students who struggle with concentration, social behaviours, and mental health, impacted by how they use technology at home. This may even be your family’s reality – it has been for mine from time to time. Similarly, as parents, you are no doubt concerned about how to set up your children with healthy screen-time and social media habits. 

That's why we're excited to introduce a new online course for parents called Raising Tech-Healthy Humans, in partnership with Daniel Sih from Spacemakers.

Daniel Sih, a TEDx speaker and award-winning author, is well known within CEN schools and his latest book  Raising Tech-Healthy Humans, has been widely used in our schools over the past 12 months.

Normally priced at $97, the online course is complimentary for families with children in CEN schools. 

There are fifteen short, interesting videos covering a range of essential tech-healthy parenting topics such as:

- How do I encourage healthy screen-time limits?

- What is the impact of interactive media on my child's developing brain?

- When and how should I give my child a smartphone?

- How do I engage in relationship-forming tech-conversations?

- How is my philosophy of technology a faith-issue?

- What can I do to get my kids outdoors to have fun?

- How do we support each other to raise healthy, wholehearted humans as a community?

Each video is guided by questions that groups of parents could discuss together when they meet socially. There are also supportive resources, such as digital contracts, infographics, and parenting checklists. 

Daniel is a Christian who writes and speaks for the broader Australian community; his teachings are informed by his love for Jesus and his experience working as a church pastor.
