Samoan Language Week

Our Samoan week kicked off with few students having ago at green unripe bananas peeling demonstration and indulge in Panikeke (round donut) for breakfast.  We then had popcorns & Maltesers while we watched a snippet of the Hobbs & Shaw movie where the famous Samoan actor The Rock features. On Wednesday we enjoyed eating just under 200 plates of sapasui, rice & banana chips (these were from the green bananas that were peeled) and finished off the week with a common samoan breakfast dish, koko laisa (chocolate cocoa bean, rice pudding). Faafetai mo le lagolagoina ole Gagana samoa i lenei vaiaso.
