TLI Update (Tutor Learning Initiative)
Students in Grade One are making amazing progress with their Phonological Awareness skills. Phonological Awareness is essential to the task of learning to read English. All students have achieved their goal and are now able to identify the beginning, middle and final sounds in spoken words. The students pictured are playing a game where they identify the middle vowel sound. Students enjoy completing a range of activities including interactive activities on the computer to strengthen and help consolidate their Phonological Awareness skills.
