DPS Public Speaking Competition

This term all of our DPS students have been busy preparing, practising and presenting their speeches for the DPS Public Speaking Competition. This annual event not only showcases the confidence of our students but also celebrates their ability to articulate their thoughts on a public platform. 

Congratulations to Cleo (Prep M), Seraphina (1M), Harper (2S), Clara (3P) and Giselle (4S) who were titled the year level winners! These students also presented their speeches to the whole school community during virtual assembly!

Year 5 &6 Public Speaking Competition Night

Held in the Junior School Building, the Year 5 and 6 public speaking competition night was a culmination of weeks of preparation and practise. It provided a platform for students across year 5 and 6 to express their views and share stories on a diverse range of topics in front of their peers and parents.

As judges deliberated, the tension in the auditorium was palpable. Every participant demonstrated commendable courage and skill, making the selection process a challenging yet rewarding experience. We are immensely proud of all our speakers for their hard work and dedication, and we congratulate them for their outstanding performances!
