Sporting Schools Grants

This term we have been lucky to receive a grant to introduce new skills, games and play to our students through the game Lacrosse. Over the next two weeks, students will be participating in Lacrosse sessions on skill development and game sense in their PE lessons with Mr Beach. Specialist Lacrosse coaches will facilitate this program.

Zone Cross Country

Last Wednesday, we had two St Mary's students representing the Crib Point District Primary Schools' Sporting Association at the School Sport Victoria Southern Peninsula Zone Cross Country. Both Caleb and Flynn were running in the 10 and under event as 9-year-olds and ran so well. Flynn finished 25th with Caleb close behind in 35th. Out of a potential 50-plus competitors, this was an amazing achievement. 

The boys have been training together to prepare for the event on the foreshore running track and I wouldn't be surprised if they continued training for the event next year.  

CPDPSSA - Winter Lightning Premiership

Our netball and soccer teams have been training each week at senior school sport and are gearing up for the big day on Thursday 13th June. 

Please complete the Operoo by Tuesday 11th June. 

Parents are welcome to come along and support on the day. Netball is at the Somerville Indoor Stadium and the soccer is hosted at the Graham Myers Reserve in Bittern.
