Principal's News

Mrs Gabrielle Espenschied

Dear Parents,

Thankyou to Natalie, Lucette and Marissa for leading a wonderful Reconciliation Week at St Mary's. It was such a great celebration highlighting our first nations people and the many activities throughout the week focussing on the 2024 theme of 'Now more than ever!'.

Congratulations to Ruby, Peter and Zac for participating in the Sacrament of First Eucharist on Sunday.

The Eucharist fosters a culture of prayer and spiritual growth within the school community. We encourage members to pray for one another, to share their faith journeys, and to support each other in their spiritual growth.

The Eucharist is a sacrament of unity, binding us together as members of the body of Christ (Francis 2015). We seek to build school communities that reach out to those in need and support a spirit of inclusivity and hospitality. We foster a sense of belonging, knowing that we are all members of the same body.

By our living of the Eucharist, we create school communities that are vibrant, welcoming and spiritually enriching, reflecting the love and light of Jesus Christ.

Twilight Open Day

We invite all of our community to the twilight open day this Wednesday 5th June from 4.30pm to 6pm

Please promote the event and invite your friends and any community members.

We also look forward to sharing a meal with our Year 6 community on Wednesday as we begin the preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Yours in Partnership,

Gab
