Primary class-led Chapels

It is a great blessing to have students in Primary school lead us in Primary Chapel services.  Each class takes one chapel throughout the year.  Last week our Year 5B and 2A both led chapel services celebrating Pentecost - the day that God sent the Holy Spirit to his disciples, just as he had promised.

It was wonderful to see this part of the Bible acted out, reflected upon and celebrated through singing and dancing.  We look forward to some more class-led chapel services in the coming weeks.

Parents and carers are always warmly invited to join us for our College Chapel services.  The details are as follows.

·       Junior Primary (Years Prep – 2) – Tuesday 8:45am, in the Middle Primary foyer.

·       Secondary School – Wednesday 8:45am, in the VCE building.

·       Upper Primary (Years 3 – 6) – Thursday 8:45am, in the Middle Primary foyer.

Services last for about 15 minutes and pre-school siblings are welcome.

Did you know?

Every morning, the staff of Lakeside College joins together for a time of devotion.  One of our teachers leads us each day in a time of reflection and prayer.

Throughout the year, we pray for each of the students of the College by name in staff devotions.  We don't mention individual needs or issues, but simply list the students, in alphabetical order and pray for them.  We pray generally for God's blessing and protection on the students and their learning, and for God’s blessing on their families.
