Student Interview with Xavier and Jesse - Year 6

 

What do you love about school?

Xavier - I like playing interschool sports with my friends and I also love getting to do extension maths such as VHAP.

 

 

Jesse - That the teachers let you go for brain breaks and that the excursions are so good.

Were you nervous about starting Year 6?

Xavier - I was a little bit nervous and excited because I knew that it was going to be a great last year and I was going to be ready for high school.

 

Jesse - I was excited about getting my year 6 jacket and I wasn't too nervous; I am excited for high school.

 

Who is your hero?

Xavier - My hero is Steph Curry an NBA player who was always told that he was too small to play in the NBA but now he is one of the best.

 

Jesse - My hero is Michael Jordan because he inspires me to train and to never ever give up.

 

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Xavier - When I grow up, I want to be an AFL player.

 

Jesse -I want to be a brain surgeon because the brain is cool and really interesting.

 

What did you see recently that made you smile/be happy?

Xavier - Just seeing my friends and having fun with them.

 

Jesse - My school won the District Cross Country, and everyone was laughing, smiling and having a great time.

If you had 2 wishes, what would  you wish for?                                         

Xavier - Firstly I would wish that everyone would just be happy. Secondly for everyone to just be nice to each other.

 

Jesse - The first thing that I would wish for would to be to have infinite happiness. Also, for people not to be homeless.
