We are excited to invite you to join the Parents and Friends Committee at St. Mary's Primary School!

Our Parents and Friends Committee plays a vital role in contributing to the success of our school. We are currently seeking volunteers who are willing to join the committee and actively participate in activities that foster a sense of community at St. Mary's. Whether it's organising events, fundraising, or providing support, your involvement can make a meaningful impact on the school and its members.

Joining the Parents and Friends at St. Mary’s is a great way to get involved in your school community, keep up-to-date with what’s happening at the school, contribute to your child’s education and make new friends. The Parents and Friends is a group of volunteers working together to improve the facilities, resources and opportunities available at the school. By participating in the Parents and Friends, you are supporting the school community.

In return, the school community may support you in learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities. Your contribution to the Parents and Friends can be as large or small as you can manage. Your ongoing support is invaluable.

The aims of the Parents and Friends are to:

Help create an environment of mutual support, cooperation and friendship amongst the school community.
Assist in the provision of amenities and resources for the school, through fundraisers and similar activities.
Assist in the conduct of functions and activities associated with the school.
Provide interaction between all members of the school community.

Membership of the Parents and Friends is open to all parents/guardians of students and all other persons who agree to work in alignment with these operational guidelines. The Parents and Friends is an example of co-operation and collaboration in working towards the goals of the school and the wellbeing of the whole school community.
