The Holy Spirit Swim Team made a big splash at this year’s District Swimming Carnival at Tintern pool last week, showcasing incredible skill, determination, and team spirit. Competing against the best swimmers in the Ringwood District, our athletes gave it their all, delivering strong performances in every event.
We had a number of individual swimmers achieve top 3 finishes, and our relay teams showed impressive changes and teamwork.
Beyond the place ribbons, the team’s biggest victory was their sportsmanship and support for one another. Whether cheering from the pool deck or pushing through the final meters of a tough race, our swimmers embodied the true spirit of Holy Spirit School.
Congratulations to all our competitors and a huge thank you to Beck for coaching as well as our parents for their support.
Congratulations to the team: Isla CM, Abby Y, Elaina S, Gemma B, Maya S, Arianna P, Eloise W, Lyla P, Summer M, Lilah S, Grace D, Jeremy G & Raf N.
Well done to our 11 girls, 11 mixed, 12 girls and medley relay teams who all qualified for and competed at Division! As well as Isla and Jeremy who qualified and competed in individual events.
We are halfway through our summer season of ineterschool sport, with our teams doing incredibly! We will give an end of season wrap up later in the term. Here are a few pictures from our first round of basketball:
Lunchtime House Activities
Lunchtime House Activities will continue to run on Mondays at lunch, alternating between the 3-6 and P-2 students.
Thanks to Beck and the House captains for their work running these activities.
Run/Walk Club
Run/Walk Club will continue this year. Students can join us on the oval to run or walk laps to earn hous points for their team. Due to Friday morning Interschool Sport in Term 1 it will not run on Friday mornings - I will endeavour to run it on Monday mornings - keep an eye of dojo for updates.
From Term 2 onwards we will be back to consistent Friday mornings!
Remember there is a house cup sitting in the front office that display's each weekly winner. There is also a weekly leaderboard up in the 5/6 building window that will be updated each week.
Here is an update of our points and results so far:
Keep Active!
