Lunch Clubs

The fun continues at each lunch time! We continue to be blesseed with great weather, which means all outdoor clubs have been able to happen outdoors. But, we know that very soon the days will become cooler and possibly a little wet too. It's time to start planning for a few indoor activities. A firm favourite last year was Lego Masters! Miss N will resume this club next week. We are also keen to run another Lego club and use our new Lego table to start to create a GIANT city made from these versatile blocks. If you have any Lego that is not being used, we would gladly accept it! We are also keen for more LOLs and hoola hoops, if you have any to spare.

Happy Families

Two very interesting articles are attached in the newsletter today. "Navigating the Bullying Maze" provides some clarity as to 'what' bullying is and 'how' to best support childrn who are experiencing this.  Our second piece, 'Help! My Child Has Been Replaced by a Human Shrug' will sure to give you a few giggles and head nods as you read it. But, understanding the science behind certain changes in behaviour is definitely interesting  information. Insight Articles

Please remember, Insights are released once a week during the term and we will include them in the school newsletter. The membership also allows parents and staff to access all of the previous 300+ Insights articles. To do so at any time, use the below URL and password.

We would love to have you join us at St A's - would you like to help out?

As the school year begins, it's a great time to find out how you can become an active member of our vibrant community at St Augustine's. We always appreciate an extra pair of hands to help across the school for a variety of reasons. This term we will have Cooking & Gardening sessions, a number of sporting events and excursions planned. It would be great if you are able to get involved and take part. If you are keen to join in, please make sure you have a current Working With Children Check
