Grade 5/6

The Grade 5 and 6 students have been looking at embossed artworks by Mexican born artist,  Monserrat Gomez. In Gomez's work she explores symbols and motifs that reflect her culture. Students were asked to draw a symbol that relates to their individual, family or cultural identity. Here are some of their works in progress. They are looking forward to sharing their finished work in the upcoming weeks. 

Grade 3/4

In Grade 3 and 4, students have been practising a range of chalk pastel techniques in their visual diaries which they will use in their next piece.
