Year 6 Lollies Election

On February 26, 2025, the highly anticipated Year 6 Lollie Election kicked off with a fierce competition to determine which lollies would make it onto the official ballot for election day on February 27.

To ensure a fair and democratic outcome, we used a preferential voting system, ranking our favourite lollies in order of preference, and collecting signatures for endorsement.

We applied for jobs to manage the election process, they were - security guard, ballot counter, witness for the count, class runner, media team, news announcer, flyer distributor, and ballot distributor. Each role required a resume and short answer questions to find out who is most suitable.

After all the votes were counted and preferences distributed, the final standings were revealed:

🥇 1st Place: Kit Kats – winning by a landslide!

🥈 2nd Place: Sour Patch Kids

🥉 3rd Place: Jolly Ranchers
