So many 5's!

The Year 5s have had a busy fortnight! In Week 5’s year level assembly, the cohort heard our SRC speeches. We had excellent speeches from representatives from each class. Everyone voted via a Google form, and we are very pleased to announce Eeshaan and Akmam as our 2025 Year 5 SRC leaders!

Wellbeing

In Wellbeing sessions, we brainstormed our personal strengths. We created a word splash, thinking deeply about our inner character strengths. We also made an emotional regulation toolkit. 

Writing

In Writing, we unpacked a seed together using a See Think Wonder, and used our unpack to generate ideas for a narrative in preparation for NAPLAN next week!

Maths

In Maths, we finished up our decimals unit. We used numbers (whole numbers, fractions and decimals) from two different columns to write number sentences using the operations. We have also been doing lots of NAPLAN practice – looking at different types of questions and familiarising ourselves with the testing platform.
