Cure for Cancer Fundraiser

Crazy Hair Day 🎨✨

Get ready for a wacky, wild, and colourful day because Crazy Hair Day is coming to our school on Friday, March 21st!

Students are invited to come to school with their craziest, most creative hairstyles – think bright colours, silly styles, and fun accessories! Let your imagination run wild!

We are also asking for a gold coin donation to support the Cancer Council, helping fund vital research and support for those affected by cancer. This will also be a free dress day.

💛 Special Fundraiser Stall! 💛

Some of our keen Year 4 students will be running a special stall on the day to raise even more funds for this great cause. Be sure to stop by, support their efforts, and grab something fun!

Let’s have some fun while making a difference! We can’t wait to see all the crazy hairdos! 🎨🎀🎊

P Day

Foundation Only

Dear Prep N and FLS Families,

We are excited to announce our upcoming P Day celebration on Monday, 24th March (Week 9)! On this special day, we’ll be exploring the letter P and all the fun things that start with the "P" sound. From Princesses to Parrots, Pyjamas to Possums, the options are endless!

To make it even more fun, we ask that all students come dressed as something that begins with the letter P. Whether it’s a Pirate, a Puppy, or even Principal Pete, we can’t wait to see how creative everyone gets!

We also warmly invite all families to join us for the P Day Parade at the start of the day. It’ll be a fantastic way to celebrate and see all the fantastic P-themed outfits in action.

As an extra treat, students will celebrate by enjoying some Popcorn and watching the Paw Patrol movie!

We’re so excited to see everyone in their best “P” costumes and can’t wait to enjoy this special day together. It’s sure to be a P-perfect day!

Warm regards,

Nick and Lorna

Smile Squad School Dental Program

Dear Parents/Carers,

They will be there June 30th for 1 week.

As you might be aware, we have had the School Dental Program - ‘Smile Squad’ – attend our school to give the students information on good dental health, undertake dental examinations and, where required, organise follow-up treatment. While the program is voluntary, many of you consented for your child/children to participate in the Smile Squad program.

To better understand the delivery of the Smile Squad program including benefits and challenges, an independent firm (Abt Global) has been engaged to evaluate the program. This is your opportunity to provide feedback on your experience of the program. If you didn’t consent for your child/children to participate in Smile Squad they are also keen to hear from you. The evaluation team want to understand why you chose not to participate. So, whether you participated or not, this is an opportunity to provide feedback so that improvements can be made to the Smile Squad program.

To participate in the evaluation, you can complete a confidential 5–10-minute survey. The survey does not require you to provide any information to the evaluation team that identifies you, however the survey does ask what school your child/children attend. Here is the link to the survey.

We encourage you to participate in this short survey and provide valuable feedback on Smile Squad. If you would like to provide more detailed feedback to the evaluation team, please contact Eleanor at smilesquad_eval@abtglobal.com .
