IPS Girls AFL Team – Ready for Game Day!

The IPS Girls AFL team have been training hard, pushing ourselves to improve and work together as a strong team. With our coach, Mr. Pearce, guiding us, we’re determined to bring our best to the field and make IPS proud!

Our team includes Rondelle, Abigail, Adelphe, Charlotte, Mariam, Meryam, Poppy, Jasmine, Celine, Ella, Amelia, Dania, Maddie, Edith, Natalie, Aryana and Noosh. Leading us is our captain Adelphe, with Abigail and Amelia as vice-captains, and Rondelle and Charlotte stepping up as deputy vice-captains.

We’re gearing up for our big game on the Friday 7th of March, where we’ll be facing off against our opponents at Chelsworth Park. With teamwork, determination, and a strong game plan, we’re ready to give it our all and aim for the win!

IDSSA Swimming Carnival

Well done to all the swimmers who competed in the IDSSA swimming carnival on Monday at Northcote Pool. 

Congratulations to Charlotte from 6H who made it through to Division by winning her individual 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly events. Congratulations also, to the girls year 6 medley team of Charlotte (6H), Adelphe (6R), Maddie (6P) and Ella (6P) who finished very strongly to finish second and progress to Division.

Year 6 interschool sport 

There are no weekly fixtures until Term 2.  

Mr Pearce and the year 6 Girls AFL team have been in training on Tuesdays and Fridays in preparation for the AFL Girls Gala Day on Friday 7th March 9am – 1pm, at Chelsworth Park.
