IPS School Review Update

Day 1 of the School Review saw the Panel review the schools performance against the previous School Strategic Plan. The Panel visited Year 4 and Year 6 classrooms and observed maths lessons before visiting junior literacy sessions.
The Panel validated self assessments against the departments standards of Leadership, Teaching and Learning, Assessment and Engagement.
The Panel met with focus groups of students and parents across the day.
Day 2 of the School Review saw the Panel visit Year 3 and Year 5 classrooms and observe Literacy lessons. The panel met with Education Support staff, Teachers and more students focussing on teaching, learning and well-being.
Day 3 is the final day of the review process and is scheduled for Wednesday the 12th of March. What will follow will be a new set of long term goals and key implementation strategies to guide our journey over the next four years.
Pam and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all staff and teachers for their dedication and valuable contributions throughout the school review process. Their insights, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement have been truly commendable.

The thoughtful discussions, collaboration, and shared expertise of students, staff and parents throughout this process have reinforced what makes our school community so strong — our passion for student learning and well-being.
