Division Swimming

The Hobsons Bay Division Swim Carnival was held on Thursday, March 6th. The participating students gave their all, resulting in a very enjoyable day. Five out of the ten students competing qualified for the Western Regional Swimming Carnival on April 1st.

The five students who qualified for the next stage of competition are Erika, Charlotte, Natalie, Freya, and Immanuel.

Freya, Charlotte, Erika and Natalie won first place in the 4 x 50m Freestyle relay race. Charlotte finished runner-up in the 50m Freestyle, Freya finished runner-up in the 50m Backstroke and third in the 50m Butterfly, and Immanuel finished runner-up in both the 50m Freestyle and Butterfly.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who raced with smiles on their faces and demonstrated great sportsmanship at the pool.
