On Monday during our whole school assembly, the following students were acknowledged and their learning described so we all know why they are worthy recipients of our awards and applause.

Bao An’s kind and enthusiastic nature is infectious in the classroom making everyone feel excited about learning. Bao An listens and watches what is going on so that she is always ready to learn. 1C | Tejasbir | For being a collaborative learner this week. You have shown kindness, patience, and a positive attitude while sharing ideas and listening to your classmates. Your teamwork has made group activities more fun and successful. You are now focused and trying your best at all learning tasks. You also always ensure you complete your leadership jobs to the best of your ability. Well done! |
1O | Sallyann | For being a resilient learner who has quickly transitioned into our Grade One class. You have adapted to new routines and the St Martin’s Ways of Working with ease. You answer the roll with an enthusiastic "Good morning!" and bring a positive energy to the classroom. This week, you worked hard to finish your writing and shared lots of great ideas with the class. It is clear you have been practicing your writing as you have made so much improvement and it is inspiring to see your persistence in tasks even when they can get a little challenging. Dut has been modelling the WOW’s, completing his learning to a high standard and is always the first to respond to the attention signal with accuracy. 3/4K | Selina | For being a reflective learner. You have been listening carefully during learning time, and asking clarifying questions so you can be successful. You consistently do your best and a little bit more in class! This really stood out during Maths this week, where you reflected on feedback to drive your learning further. 1C | Noah | For being a reflective learner in Mathematics this week. Noah was able to think deeply about his open ended challenging tasks and was able to teach the class his clever strategies. Noah confidently, accessed the extending prompts and even took his learning further by investigating further problems in the other year one classroom. What a fantastic mathematician you are Noah. |
1O | Kaira | For being a reflective learner, particularly during our Initial Lit lessons. You are consistently organised and ready to learn, which sets a wonderful example for your classmates. It is impressive to see how you attentively listen to feedback given and work hard to apply it to improve your learning. Well done, Kaira! Keep up this amazing work! |
2M | Luka | For being a motivated learner. You have started at our school with an incredible attitude! You have quickly taken on board how to get ready for learning, always showing enthusiasm to begin tasks and asking for help when needed. 2A | Nathan | For being a motivated leader in our classroom. You have only been here for 5 weeks but it is like you have been here forever! You have settled in so well, you are fun , diligent and motivated to get to work and try your best and that little bit more. Keep it up, Nathan! |

He has been trying his best and a little bit more in the classroom by putting up his hand to talk, being resilient when challenges arise and has been taking on all learning tasks with perseverance! You are really adapting well to being a grade 3 and we couldn’t be prouder of you! |
