P&F News
A large contingent of Year Seven families gathered on the school grounds last Sunday afternoon for our Year Seven Meet & Mingle.
It was great to see many old and new faces. It gave the attendees the chance to put names on the faces of the students that their children have been talking about for the last few weeks. I would also like to thank Principal Mr Mathew Irving and Mr Jordan Owenell, Deputy Principal - Head of Secondary, for attending and speaking to the families. Further thanks to Mr Darryl Hancock, Assistant Coordinator, in his capacity of Year Seven Representative, for organising the event and to Chef Nick and his team for the delicious selection of finger foods that the kids (and adults) ploughed through.
By now, you should have received your link to the new WhatsApp chat groups that we have set up for each year group. These groups will be used by the P&F to send information to families and for families within each year group to organise chat-ups.
P&F Events
Meet & Mingle, Whole of Primary School Family Gathering - Friday 7 March. At the conclusion of school at 3.00pm, we will crank up the BBQs and serve sausages in a bun along with a cold drink to the students and parents. This is an opportunity for families to interact in a relaxed environment and get to know each other a little better. Please RSVP to the Primary School Meet & Mingle event here.
Let's Kayak Family Event, Sunday 9 March (2.30pm to 4.30pm). Mark that date in your diary. It's always a great event.
Afternoon on the Knoll - Sunday 6 April – A family picnic-style event on the banks overlooking our picturesque River. We’ll provide the music and some entertainment for the children. Just bring some nibbles, drinks, and a picnic blanket – More details will be released closer to the event.
