Heads of Secondary Years' Report 

Dear Parents, Carers and Friends of Hazel Glen College,

It is hard to believe we are at the end of Term 1 already. 

What an action packed term it has been, with so many opportunities for our students to get involved and build connections. The Athletics Carnival last week was certainly no exception. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day with so many of our students in attendance. You can read more about this event and enjoy some photos from the day in the Celebrations of Learning and Community section of this newsletter. 

We ended the term with a wonderful Secondary Years assembly on Monday that provided a re-cap of many key events from the term and a guest appearance from our Primary Years Choir. 

As we finish Term 1, now would be a good time to check your child's uniform and see if you need to purchase new items for the cooler months.  As outlined in the communication from Mr Stockwell earlier this week, students are permitted to choose between wearing their academic and PE uniform from the start of Term 2. It is important however, that no matter what uniform they wear,  all items should be approved HGC uniform items.
