School Choir

Dear families,

The TRPS Choir has been hard at work over the past few weeks, preparing for several exciting performances, including Harmony Day and the highly anticipated Victorian State Schools Spectacular.

The TRPS Choir leaders, Jamie Stanley, Victoria Andrew and Guilhem Kirby are teaching students through music and vocal training. Students will be taught how the voice works through effective vocal warm-ups and techniques (breathing, scales, melodic runs, harmony, sustaining notes, dynamic control) and singing. Choir members are working together to achieve an exciting and growing repertoire, refining their vocal ability and aural skills to successfully sing alongside their peers. As choir is a year-long commitment, we are excited for the journey ahead and look forward to a fantastic year of music and performance!
