LS3 JUNIORS - RE-INQUIRY

The LS3 Juniors have been looking at how living things survive and thrive in RE-Inquiry. We have reflected upon the ‘Parable of the Mustard’ seed and made connections to the caring role of our Father who provides abundance for us and how we care for our world.

This week we decided to take action and care for our environment.

Here are some of the results!

One of our students found a coin and promptly put it in the Project Compassion box. Our actions helped our school environment and the poor in our community.

Catholic Education Week Visual Arts Exhibition 2025

I am very pleased to announce that we have 3 pieces of artwork on display this year at the MACS VISUAL ARTS Exhibition. Congratulations to Layla M and Odin P, two of our grade 6 students in 2024, who have their “Selfie” portraits on display.

We also have our “In The Light Of Christ” Cross on display made by the SFS Senior Students in grade 3-6 last year.

The exhibition is free entry and opens to the public for viewing this Sunday 16th March and has open hours every day through until Saturday 22nd March. It is a wonderful celebration of Visual Art made by primary and secondary school students selected from Catholic Schools throughput Victoria. Their enthusiasm has positively impacted both their peers and us as coaches.  The students get to experience what is expected of them when representing their school in Interschool Sport.

BIKE EDUCATION

The students are gaining confidence when riding their bikes and the road rules around Lynbrook bike pathways.  They are also gaining an understanding of what to anticipate while riding, recognizing the significance of safety.  It is crucial for the students to attentively follow instructions to ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience.

Bike education serves as a means to instil in the students the importance of prioritizing safety above else. Furthermore, engaging in regular activities is crucial, as it contributes to the enhancement of fitness, health and overall well- being. I will like also like to thank the following parents in assisting with the sessions, Bruntha (Hayani and Dakshan’s mum) and Dulan (Akindu’s dad).
