PFA UPDATE
EASTER RAFFLE TICKETS NOW ON SALE
CPS’ much loved Easter Raffle will be drawn at the final assembly for the term on Friday 4th April. If you buy a ticket/s, you’ll be in the draw to win a huge range of Easter goodies. The major prize will include a 1kg Chocolate Bunny from Lizzy's Chocolates and as always stacks of other great chocolate goodies up for grabs as well!
Tickets are now on sale via Qkr:
- $3 for one ticket
- 5x tickets for $10
- 10x tickets for $17
Once again, thank you to Lucy Gow (mum of Harvey in Grade 6) for painting the gorgeous bunny pic to help promote the raffle again this year.
Winning tickets will be called out using the name of the profile they are purchased under, so this would be a great time to check that you have the right year level and homegroup attached to your child’s Qkr profile. If you have more than one child at the school and would like each of them to have a chance at the draw, please buy some tickets under each profile.
If you have friends, colleagues, neighbours, family members etc that would like to buy a ticket in their own name, you can set up a profile for them using the year level and home group ‘Friends of CPS’, or they can download Qkr and set up their own account. If you buy tickets using a 'Friends of CPS' profile (ie. not CPS student or staff member), please provide a phone number below so we can contact the lucky winner.
CALLING FOR EASTER RAFFLE DONATIONS
The PFA relies on the generosity of families to donate the other chocolate prizes, which are bundled up into prize packs. We’d be grateful for donations of other Easter goodies (including non-chocolate related items such as craft activities.) Boxes have been placed in each classroom to collect these and donations will be gratefully received until Wednesday 2nd April.
HOT CROSS BUNS NOW AVAILABLE TO ORDER
Carnegie Bakers Delight is generously assisting the PFA again this year in our fundraising efforts. Hot Cross Buns are $9.50 for a six-pack, and Bakers Delight will donate $1.50 per pack purchased by CPS families. Traditional, choc-chip, fruitless and apple & cinnamon options available.
Orders are now open via Qkr and buns will be sent home with the child whose profile they are purchased under on Tuesday 1st April.
Remember to ask family and friends if they would like you to order some for them too! Thank you in advance for your support.
BOOK CLUB ORDERS CLOSE THIS FRIDAY 21ST
Your child should (hopefully!) have brought home their first Scholastic Book Club catalogue for the year. If it’s been lost in transit, you can also view the current issue here: https://scholastic.com.au/book-club/book-club-parents/issue-preview/
When do orders close?
Orders for this issue (Issue #2) will close on Friday 21st March.
When & how will I get my books?
Your books will be delivered directly to CPS and sent home with your child. We hope they will arrive before the end of Term 1, but this is unfortunately outside of our control.
How to order:
Orders are placed via Scholastic’s Linked Online Ordering Platform (LOOP). You can register for a new account online and start ordering straight away. Unfortunately we are not accepting cash orders.
Remember, 15% of every purchase from a Book Club/Book Fair comes back to CPS in Scholastic Rewards to buy books for our school library and classrooms.
