FROM THE TEAM

As we move into Week 4, it’s clear the year has started on a very positive note. Students have settled confidently into their new routines and learning spaces, and it has been wonderful to see friendships and new connections forming. The calm start across the school has set a strong foundation for our students.

LEARNING INTENTIONS FOR NEXT WEEK

READING

• We are learning to find the main idea and summarise non fiction text : “Explore Earth’s Five Ocean”

WRITING

• We are innovating our “Coral Ocean” text.

   

MORPHOLOGY

• We are learning to use our knowledge of morphological word families to spell more complex words with the base word ‘hydr’.

   

MATHS

• We are learning to solve problems involving the duration of time, including situations involving conversions between units of time  

INQUIRY

• We are continuing to explore Australia’s neighbouring countries.
