YEAR 3

FROM THE TEAM

This week, we have continued to strengthen our understanding of classroom transitions and expectations. It has been wonderful to see students demonstrating growing independence and confidence as they prepare themselves for learning each day. We are also seeing many positive connections beginning to form within the classroom, with students showing kindness, cooperation, and respect as they build new friendships and learn to work collaboratively with one another.

We also held our first-Parent Teacher Interviews for 2026. It was a pleasure meeting the families of our Year 3 cohort and working collaboratively to discuss and set individual goals to support each student’s growth and success. We value the strong partnership between home and school and look forward to working together throughout the year to promote positive learning outcomes for every student.

Students have brought home their school photo order forms this week. Orders can be placed online using the website and QR code provided on the form.

  • We are learning to demonstrate expected behaviours.
  • We are learning to answer literal and inferential questions of fictional texts.
  • We are learning to use our ‘Show, don’t tell’ toolkit within our innovation planning and writing.
  • We are learning to responsibly use and care for our laptops.
  • We are learning to subtract 2-digit numbers with and without regrouping.
