Principal's message
It's clear that Term 4 is one of the busiest times of the school year and before we have blinked we are aleady in Week 8! We’ve had a wonderful term and still have plenty of celebrations and successes to go, with much more to look forward to so please ensure you keep an eye out on Compass to have all the up-to-date information and dates.
We are now in a position to outline our grade structures for 2025;
- P/1
- 1/2
- 3/4
- 5/6
In 2025 our student numbers in each class aligns much better than in 2024, allowing us much more consistency across each class. We aim for teachers to be allocated to each class by our Transition Day on Decemeber 10.
Prep Transition
We have been excited to welcome our 2025 Prep students for their first transition session in the previous fortnight and very excited to welcome again this week. These sessions will give our future Preps a chance to familiarise themselves with their new learning environment, meet some of our staff, and connect with future peers and buddies. We look forward to supporting them as they begin their journey at our school. At present we have 12 preps enrolled for 2025.
X-mas Concert
We are very excited for our Xmas Concert next week, please see the Community Notices page for further details
Remembrance Day
On Monday 11th November a service was held to pay our respects and mark Remembrance Day. Five of our student representatives led the delivery of the service to the whole school.
Reading a brief history of ‘What Is Remembrance Day?’- James K.
A poem ‘In Flanders Fields ’- Lily H, Ivy K and Eleesiah G.
‘The Ode of Remembrance’ – Ruby H.
The Last Post and one minute’s silence concluded our service.
As a school community we were impressed by the spirit and sentiment shown by these students in the delivery of the Remembrance Day service but more outstandingly within themselves.
Five remarkable student leaders.
