Congratulations to Mrs Maatouk for winning the Principals Network Award for GEPS in 2024!

Christine Maatouk, an Intervention Teacher, has been the lead teacher in establishing our "Code-Breakers, Meaning-Makers" intervention program. She has collaborated with executive to establish the space; design the program; run literacy intervention lessons; and track and monitor student progress. 

Christine assessed every student for participation in the program and has been instrumental in ensuring lessons run every day and that every minute of learning counts! She is a true teacher-leader who advocates for the program and for the life changing outcomes that increased literacy levels can bring.
