FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Term 4 - Week 6
Welcome to Week 6,
Year 6 have returned from an outstanding week in Canberra. An action packed week of highs, laughs and learning. Learning about our nation's capital and Australia's vast history, was accompanied with personal development for the students, coming from spending 4 nights away without family.
I was an exceptionally proud principal due to the level of respect and care our students displayed throughout the week. While the bus rides were noisy (St Nicholas students need to work on both their singing and choice of music), our students ability to focus and display high levels of respect when required displayed their maturity. Thank you to our students for bringing the best version of yourselves each day.
An enormous thank you to our brave parents who accompanied us to Canberra. Your efforts and support significantly contributed to the success of this experience for our students. Thank you for setting our children up for success.
An enormous thank you to our St Nicholas staff whose planning and participation were the glue to our experience. Your generosity and professionalism is inspiring!
Kindergarten 2025
St Nicholas three orientation days for our 2025 Kindergarten cohort concluded last Friday.
Our newest members to the St Nicholas family always reminded me of the innocence of youth and the privileged position we hold as educators.
The future of St Nicholas looks very bright indeed!
Have a great week.
