Visitors to St Kilian’s

I was delighted to host Sarah Henderson (Federal Senator Liberal), Matt Evans (Candidate for Bendigo Liberal), Professor Pamela Snow (La Trobe Bendigo) and Margaret O'Rourke (La Trobe Bendigo) to discuss Literacy. Special mention goes to our grade prep classes and teachers who showed our guests how explicit direct instruction happens at St Kilian's.

Principal Award Recipient

Jensen (2AP) has been working very hard on his reading both at home and at school. His end-of-year reading assessments have shown excellent progress.

Congratulations on an outstanding effort, Jensen. Well done! You should be very proud of yourself.

Marong Cup Cancellation

Earlier this term we were informed by Catholic Education Sandhurst that our schools can no longer participate in the Marong Cup. There are many contributing factors to this and we understand why this decision has been made. We would like to acknowledge the dedicated and hard working Marong Cup Committee. We have received thousands of dollars over the years and are very grateful for all the monies donated to our Bendigo Catholic schools in this time.

P-2 Tabloid Sports

Friday 29th November the students in Grades P-2 will participate in a Tabloid Sports morning. Details can be found on the PAM permission form.

The students are welcome to wear their house colours for the day.

They are very excited and have been doing lots of practice during their sports sessions.

Absolutely Everybody End of Year Concert

St Kilian's is proud to present an end of year Dance Concert called 'Absolutely Everybody' on tomorrow evening 21st November. This wonderful event will be at The Shed (St Francis of the Fields PS, Strathfieldsaye). All families are warmly invited. All classes will perform a dance, ending with a big showcase! The first dance will begin at 6 pm. Students are encouraged to arrive at 5:45 pm.

Pupil Free Day

Please note Friday 22nd November will be a pupil free day for Report Writing.

St Kilian’s School Christmas Party

Our newly reformed Parents and Friends are hosting an event, the St Kilian’s School Christmas Party on Saturday 30th November (2 pm- 5 pm). Fun for the whole family $5 entry.
