"When the first baby laughed for the first time, it's laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies." -- Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie
Save the date: National Simultaneous Storytime 2025 is on Wednesday 21st May at 12pm.
Next year's book is "The Truck Cat" written by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. Along with his human, Yacoub, Tinka travels roads wide and narrow, near and distant. But no matter how much they travel, home feels very far away -- for both of them. When Tinka and Yacoub are unexpectedly separated, they are determined to find their way back to each other -- and, in doing so, might find more than they expected.
FUN FACT:
The "Guinness World Records" book holds the world record for being the book most often stolen from libraries.
