Highlight
Hello Foundation Families,
A busy maths week this week! In the classroom, students explored analogue time, making different o'clock time and half-past times on their clocks. They also made little watches and wrote their own analogue time. They also attended the 'World of Maths' incursion and were able to explore a range of fun maths activities and puzzles based on real life, including bridge building, pattern making, mazes, and sorting.
In Guided Inquiry, students continued their investigation into where there food comes from. This week, they looked at where honey comes from and how important bees are. They wrote a bee fact and made a cute bee craft.
Thank you to everyone who has brought in a recipe to share. In writing, students have been writing procedures and have been practicing writing our own recipes and it has been fun to explore the diversity of recipes in our classes.
Have a lovely weekend!
Tegan, Emma and Ashley
