School Saving Bonus (SSB)

 The SSB portal is now open.

  • Stationery packs are NOT included in the SSB.  Please use our winc portal to order your stationery items before the start of the year.

  • For Preston Primary School, the SSB can only be used to purchase uniform and school activities (incursions, excursions, whole school days).
  • Please do not panic – you will be able to access the portal in 2025.  Anything not allocated through the portal by 30 June 2025 will come into your family’s school account for use on uniform or excursions and incursions.

 SSB emails

The Department of Education has finished emailing the introductory email to parents. This email was sent to the first parent listed in your family’s account.  You can check that in Compass.  If there was a problem with the email address, the school received a “bounce” notification, and parents were be contacted. 

 

Portal Access

Over three days, 26, 27 and 28 November, portal access emails will be sent out. 

  • If you do not get an email on the 26th, it may arrive on the 27th  OR  28th. 
  • If you have two (or more children) you will get an email and code for each child; you may get on for one child on one day, and another for another child on another day.
  • If you have children in different schools (primary and secondary) you will receive different emails.
  • REMEMBER emails may arrive over any of the three different dates.

 Logging into the Portal

  • You do not have to set up a separate account.
  • You will need to use the email address that the log in details was sent to and enter the pin that has been sent.

Uniforms

Our Uniform Shop has been recognised as an approved supplier under the SSB system. 

 

You will be able to get your uniform from our shop. You do not need to do anything in the portal – complete the fillable order form, including your unique SSB number, and email it to the School preston.ps@education.vic.gov.au.  

Your SSB balance will be adjusted according to your order. 

 

PLEASE DO NOT PANIC/BULK BUY – we will not be able to supply.  For Prep 2025, we suggest you get a start-up set, including hat, and build up your winter items later.  You will be able to order in 2025.

  • Uniform ordered through the week will be able to be picked up from 2.30 pm on Friday afternoons or sent home on Fridays with current students. 
  • LAST day for orders in 2024 is 4.30 pm Thursday 5 December.
