Year 8 LOTE Excursion

Kengal Aboriginal Place & Marrocka Emu Farms

To complement their studies of Wiradjuri language, Year 8 students visited Kengal Aboriginal Place (The Rock) and Marrocka Emu Farms. 

Uncle Richard walked with the students to The Towers and shared stories of Wiradjuri Land, plants and animals. At the Emu Farm, students learnt about traditional and contemporary uses for Emu products, and got to enjoy feeding and petting the Emus.
