Years 5 to 10 Speech and Drama Concert
Emily Shao, Year 6
The Years 5 to 10s recently held our annual Speech and Drama Concert. I really enjoyed performing in the Concert. Some of the items gave me a good laugh!
We had many students perform from a wide range of plays, monologues and group drama ensemble performances.
It was a fun night, and I am already looking forward to the next Speech and Drama Concert!
Unit 2 VCE Music Recital
The Unit 2 VCE Music Repertoire students showcased their talents in a wonderful performance recital on 7 November, delighting a supportive audience.
In accordance with VCE requirements, students presented a selection of works that demonstrated a variety of styles and techniques. Their performances included an Australian piece composed after 1990, a group ensemble, and a work from the VCAA set list. The evening was filled with vibrant and inspiring performances.
The high standard of all the presentations highlighted the significant progress made by our students throughout the year. Thank you to all the instrumental teachers who played a crucial role in preparing the students for their programs.
Student achievement - Hai An
Congratulations to Hai An from the ELC, who began Suzuki Violin lessons this semester. For her first performance, she played Busy Busy Stop Stop from Suzuki's Twinkle Variations to her ELC class.
What an impressive achievement for Hai An—well done! We're excited to see her continue to grow as a musician.
