Stage 3 Opportunity Hub Sessions

Week 9 will be the last week for our Stage 3 students participating in the Opportunity Hub worksheet. We have been fortunate enough to have Matty Nean teach the students about identity and the words in our local Gamilaraay language.  The children have completed booklets and played games using Gamilaraay Language. We thank Matty and the Opportunity Hub  for their time and look forward to working with them again next year. 

Cultural Learning Plan review 

Over the next week Miss Taggart and the First Nations students will be doing their Cultural Learning Plan review. This involves the students seeing if they have reached their goals or implementing new strategies for how to reach it next year. Miss Taggart will  then contact parents to inform them of the results from the review.

*Please note at the start of next year there will be another Cultural Learning Plan afternoon held to fill out the forms again. Date is to be conformed but please keep an eye out in the newsletter or on compass.
