We are learning to edit the spelling in our writing by using a dictionary.

VOCABULARY

Spelling: The process or activity of writing or naming the letters in a word.

Dictionary: A book that lists the words of a language in alphabetical order and also gives their meaning.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Look through the homework book and underline any words you are not sure of. 

Look them up in the dictionary and find their correct spelling as well as their meaning.
