Re-grading

PNA re-grading happens after Round 3. So, if your team is having a difficult start to the season, hopefully, change is on the way.

Please remember coaches, umpires and committee are doing their best. It doesn’t always go to plan, but your understanding and flexibility go a long way. Be part of the solution!

Pride Week

It’s Pride Week at PNA, so get out your rainbow socks and hair ribbons to support our friends in the PRIDE community.

Weather

Netball is a winter sport and we therefore still play in the rain. It is rare for games to be cancelled, and it is often a last-minute decision. If games are cancelled, we will contact Team Managers and Coaches as soon as possible. You can also follow PNA on their Facebook page.

Equipment

Please take care of all of the equipment in your team bags. Replacing it is expensive, and the cost is ultimately passed back to the parents. 

If there is wet weather, there are two large garbage bags in the team bag. One is for keeping the team bag dry, and the other is for the players' jackets. Could the managers please take the bibs home to dry them off?

There is an electric ball pump in the hall at Matthews Netball Centre. Balls should be pumped to between 8 and 10 psi.

Netballs don’t need to be rock-hard or have the same bounce return as a basketball.

Overpumping, balls will cause either the bladder or the stitching to break and may cause injury to players' fingers.

If any of your equipment is broken or needs replacing, please let us know ASAP.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our coaches Sophie and Tayla for making it to the West Coast Fever training squad. We are very lucky to have these amazing players, along with other WANL and WAIS netballers, on our coaching team.
