Dental Van

For the next two weeks we have a dental van at Athol Road Primary School. This service is provided through Victorian School Dental Services. All students who have consent to be seen will attend the mobile dental van. 

This service encourages students to have regular dental checks, which can prevent or address dental health concerns before they become serious. Students who attend will learn about the importance of good dental health care. 

Check ups are FREE for all students attending school and treatment is bulk billed for children of families under Medicate Childcare Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS). Children of families not covered under CDBS will also be provided dental treatment at discounted fees.

An oral health report will be completed for each student who attends the dental van visit, and the report will be sent home to parents/carers.
