The Amazing BCPS Maths Race

On Monday 29th April, we hosted our inaugural Family Maths Night ‘The Amazing BCPS Maths Race’! 

We were delighted to welcome over 60 families as they raced around the school completing a range of Maths activities. These activities showcased how our students learn to TALK, THINK and ACT like a Mathematician through tasks that promote number fluency, understanding of concepts, problem solving skills, and most importantly, the ability to express reasons for their thinking. 

Well done to everyone that participated and those who won prizes in both the Junior Race and the Senior Race. 

We look forward to seeing an even bigger turn out next year!
