On 20 to 22 March, the Year 10 Outdoor Education class attended their camp.
The class ventured out to Point Leo to connect with nature, challenge themselves and practice valuable outdoor skills such as cycling, camping, surfing and kayaking.
The students appreciated the opportunity to speak with others that they normally wouldn’t interact with in school and they also enjoyed the slower pace in the outdoors compared to busy day-to-day life at school.
In the midst of a busy Term1, we celebrated HPE Week. It was all about embracing an active lifestyle through many heart pumping activities and enjoying yummy and nutritious fruits. Students actively participated in different sports at lunch times in to increase their physical activity, with others putting their sports knowledge to good use on the daily sports-related quizzes.
We are starting off Term 2 in Health and Physical Education with a splash! Today marks the beginning of a five-week aquatics blitz for our Year 7 students. Excitement has been high and there was a definite buzz on the bus as the classes enjoyed the quick trip to Splash’s Dandenong prior to hitting the pool.
