Junior Curriculum

Term 2 promises to be another busy term for teaching and learning. All students are encouraged to maintain a focus on their studies in preparation for exams beginning the Week of 27 May. A good home routine of rest, homework, revision, reading and sleep is crucial for the best learning outcomes. A mindset of ‘doing my best’ and ‘taking responsibility’ for learning should also be encouraged with students.

As part of continual improvement at SJRC, Student Learning Surveys will happen next week in STEP and English classes. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to reflect on their subjects and learning activities and have some input into the range of learning activities being designed for the upcoming terms.
