Music Program

Music 2025

All students enrolled in instrumental music lessons should have started now. Lessons appear on Compass each week and students miss part of a normal class on a rotating timetable. It is a requirement of all students learning an instrument at the College, that they participate in a major ensemble each week. This is a requirement for the region who gives us some funding which subsidises the costs of tuition. We also believe it is imperative that student learn through ensemble playing.

All of the ensemble are running now with the only exception being the Year 7 Band and Strings groups which will commence after Year 7 Camp.

Mordialloc Jazz Festival - Saturday 15 February

We are so thrilled to have our Stage Band performing at the annual Big Band Sunsets Festival in Mordialloc this weekend. The band have been preparing for this gig for the latter part of last year with Ms Sue Cook and have a great set to play. The festival will showcase many local artists. Come down and support our students at the Hazel Pierce Reserve, Mordialloc after 3pm.
