Year 12 Food Studies

The Unit 3 & 4  Food Studies students are currently learning about the digestive process. We did this in a creative way my ‘making poo’. We used a variety of common house hold ingredients to mimic the digestive process. This included using different colours sprinkles for different enzymes, vinegar for stomach acid and digestive juices and stockings for small intestines! It was a classroom buzzing with excitement however, was a good way to kinaesthetically learn about these processes.
