Music

This term in Music we are learning about TIMBRE. We pronounce this TAM-burr, and it describes the character or quality of a sound. For example you might describe the timbre of the voice of Mufasa from the Lion King as rich and velvety, while Zazu might be described as strident and irregular. 

Throughout the term we will get to know lots of instruments, focusing mainly on the orchestral families. So... if you are an instrumentalist I'd LOVE to hear from you! Please get in touch so we can organise show and tells.
