Shepparton/Mooroopna School bus applications for the 2025 academic year are now open for all year level students requiring travel on a country bus (not town bus).

The Shepparton/Mooroopna School Bus website has developed a new and more efficient process for the School Bus Program bus applications.

Moving forward, parents can easily access and submit bus applications via Microsoft Forms. We believe this will help parents and ensure a smooth transition to the new process.

New - North Melbourne Players Visit St. Mary’s!

Last Week, we were lucky to welcome North Melbourne stars Jy Simpkin, Charlie Comben, Zac Fisher, and Luke Urquhart to St. Mary’s!

Jy, a former Mooroopna junior, led a great Q&A session on the basketball court, where students got to ask their burning footy questions.

Afterward, AFL Victoria staff helped organise a fun kick-to-kick on the oval, giving students a chance to sharpen their skills with the players. A huge thank you to North Melbourne and AFL Victoria for an unforgettable experience!

New - Excitement in the Air

Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome the Westpac Life Saving Helicopter team to St. Mary’s!

Our students had the incredible opportunity to watch the helicopter’s arrival and departure right from our school oval—what a spectacular sight!

So much excitement as the chopper landed, and the rescuers stepped out to greet our curious learners.

The team shared their wealth of knowledge, giving our students a close-up experience of the helicopter and explaining the vital life-saving work they do in our community. The Q&A session was a highlight, with students asking thoughtful questions and learning about the importance of rescue missions and safety.

A huge thank you to the Westpac Life Saving Helicopter crew for inspiring our students and showing them what it means to serve others with courage and dedication.

This unforgettable visit was not just educational but also a reminder of the amazing heroes in our community who work tirelessly to keep us safe.
