New - MND Fundraiser
We have an upcoming event in Toolamba to raise funds for MND research.
The event is being held in honour of Murchison local and legend, Jane Spencer, who is currently fighting this horrible disease.

New - Women's Program
Thrive 4 Life Therapy are running an 8-week Women's Program. This program provides a safe, nurturing space where women can come together to connect, reflect, and grow.
Throughout the program, participants will explore valuable topics such as stress management, self-compassion, and empowerment. They'll also have the chance to express their creativity through art and engage in reflective exercises related to life values and goal setting. We believe this initiative could be a valuable opportunity for many women in our community.
New - Shepparton Soccer Club
We are actively recruiting Junior Girls players for Season 2025.
Attached is a flyer for further information.
This will be our first season offering these age group as we look to lay the foundations for future growth within our sport.
For Season 2025, we have been able to secure the services of a dedicated female coach from Spain, who last year was involved with soccer academies in Canada.
Any and all skill levels are welcome to join. Free registration to all our female players that register in 2025. As part of that registration, each player receives their playing kit (Top/Shorts/Socks), training top & hoody. All these items are theirs to keep.

New - Shepparton Junior Tennis
The Shepparton Junior Tennis Association are conducting a 'Come & Play' FREE tennis coaching clinic this Saturday for 1 x hour which also includes a FREE BBQ and is targeting 12 & Under children. At the end of the session, each participant will be given a list of our association clubs if they wish to continue to play tennis.
Although this clinic is targeting 12&U, Children older will be offered a further FREE coaching clinic at a later date. So if you have an older child interested in participating in the future, please email your details to Ann Murphy at the following email secretarysjta@gmail.com
Touch Football Junior Competition
Shepparton Touch Association is commencing a Junior Competition in Shepparton from Wednesday 5th February - Wednesday 26th March.
We aim to keep costs as low as possible so everyone can enjoy the benefits of social engagement and exercise. Cost - $62 per child. Bibs will be supplied for children to play in so there is no additional equipment or uniform fees. Children can play in sneakers or footy boots. No experience required.

Greater Shepparton City Council has officially launched its Activities in the Park Summer program, which will run from December 2024 until February 2025 featuring a line-up of FREE and low-cost activities across Greater Shepparton.

Berry Street Services
The Supporting Parents After Separation Program is a free program for co-parents aimed at reducing conflict and the impact of separation on children. The program is offered twice a month with current availabilities. Self-referrals are welcome.
The Children’s Contact Service has current availability for Supervised Visits and changeovers with no waitlist and is also a free service.

· Goulburn Flood Recovery Service are receiving clients directly and they can be reached on 5823 4700 to get connected with a Recovery Support Worker
· Wellways has a Psychological Recovery Support program which people can reach on prsmurray@wells.org
· Shepparton Family and Financial Services provide help to residents all across Greater Shepparton and support impacted residents in a number of ways including food relief, and household/personal essentials
· Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre provide food relief and provide great low-cost activities to connect with others regularly, amongst many other things

Fly2Health Speech & OT
Fly2Health are an NDIS Registered organisation who fly experienced (no new grad) Speech Pathologists regional areas every fortnight to assist participants of the NDIS (and private). Commencing Tuesday 6th August, they will have immediate availability in Shepparton for fortnightly ongoing therapy for Speech and OT. They can also provide mealtime assessments and mealtime management plans for participants if required.

Shepparton Food Share
Shepparton Foodshare rescues and receives food donations to redistribute to people that need it most. Food is distributed to registered emergency relief agencies, schools, neighborhood houses, community meals programs and churches. The people supported include individuals, children, homeless, First Nations people and our culturally and linguistically diverse community, including new arrivals and refugees.
Foodshare not only plays an integral role in our region's daily food relief needs, it also plays an essential role during times of crisis and emergency and in the recovery after these events.

Saver Plus Back to School
What is Saver Plus?
Saver Plus is a program for people on lower incomes. It’s about bolstering their financial skills, so they can develop (and keep) good savings habits.
To help families start the year off a little easier, we are runnning a Back to School campaign to support parents to access an extra $500.
If parents commit to saving up to $50 a month for 10 months, ANZ will match it with up to $500. Participants can put that money towards education costs for themselves or their children.
